My family and I moved to Clarksville in 1990 from Cairo, Illinois. I graduated from Clarksville High School (1993) and received 2 degrees from Austin Peay State University (BS in Elementary Education in 1998 and MA in Curriculum and Instruction in 2000). My teaching career started at Norman Smith Elementary in 1999 where I taught first grade for 11 years and was the After School Program Site Director from 2007-2010. I joined the Montgomery Central Elementary faculty in 2010 as a fourth grade teacher. In 2014, I moved to second grade. My husband and I have been married since 1999. He is a business management professor at MTSU and former co-owner of North Meets South. We have 2 sons that went through Central and now attend MTSU. I look forward to a wonderful school year with your child.
